Good News!

Much of the membership, propably the majority, agree with the no NPR rule and don't want it in the main forum. They rarely speak out because crybabies like you try to turn it around and whine about how they are the bad guy for actually wanting to read about pool when they come to a pool forum, and for wanting the forum rules respected.

I'm quite happy actually, it's just that I'm not afraid to take the heat from you crybabies that refuse to follow the no NPR rule, and who want to whine like little girls about those that do want the forum rules respected.

All you crybabies that want your NPR in the main forum need to start petitioning the powers that be to just do away with the NPR forum completely, and combine it with the main forum. Then you can have your NPR fix without ever having to leave the main forum. Until then stop being a crybaby about the rules. And if you don't want the two forums to be combined, then respect the seperation.

Would it really have made you that much happier if I put it in the NPR forum?

I could have done that and then posted over here, "Played pool this weekend, BTW, check my post on the NPR forum".

Is it REALLY that serious?

As Forrest Gump would say, "That is all I have to say about that."

Thanks again everyone. I apologize to all of the hard-chargers for not initially putting this into the NPR forum and hope the mods aren't considering banning me for such hardcore anarchy.

That's rich, the pot is calling the kettle black. One NPR post goes up and you're all over it like stink on a turd. I think you need to look in the mirror with that crybaby remark.

Good new indeed. Working in the hospital industry with a wife in it as well, I know how things are when you are unhealthy. Keep the sickness in the chair while you run out on it :-)

Yeah, you've upset millions of people that are too scared to say anything about it. Their lives have been so put off by your post. I don't think most of them will make it through the day. They had to wade through tons and tons of off topic posts.

Hey everyone.

I had a very invasive biopsy on Tuesday of last week. I'm all recovered now, and received the good news that they didn't find any cancer cells. So, looks like I have sarcoidosis, which is treatable. Hey...anything is better than cancer!!

So, I'm very blessed and I personally truly believe that all of your prayers indeed worked!!! I really appreciate all of the PMS, phone calls, and support during this rough period. I'm glad to be out of these woods...again.

So, as of April 10th, I was 1 year cancer free!! Proud to share that with you.

Matt

Matt, that is such good news! So glad to hear that you don't have cancer. Take care and God bless.

What is needed is a separate forum for politics and religion and if there were such a forum a NPR forum would receive much more traffic. The way NPR is now if you post a thread such as this it will only get very few if any views.

So in the absence of a separate politics and religious forum I do not mind a few threads like this.

On topic, Matt I am very glad to here of your good news and am also glad that you posted here in the main forum for all to see.

I sure am glad to know that there's people out there much more miserable, with less fulfilling things in their life than myself.

Matt, congrats on the good news. I'm glad you brought the parade to the main forum as I don't frequent the political forum. Unfortunately there's a little rain on the parade but at least there's been more sunshine than rain.

I am genuinely happy for you but you know better than to put this in the main forum. It is not pool related and your good news belongs in the NPR forum.

You may not care what I or the majority of the other members think about posting it here, but you should care about not blatantly disregarding a forum rule that the moderator has recently stressed that everyone needs to follow. You can read about it here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=96863

Matt's a pool player who will be playing for a long time. So it's pool related.
It's all about context.:D

This is, IMO, no different than the Happy Birthday posts that appear here regularly. Actually, I take it back...this is perhaps more important than the HB posts...since this is a Happy Healthy Life Day for Matt. I am just thankful that it is not another 'Passing' type thread.

BTW....if this had indeed been an inappropriate thread, the MODERATORS would have moved this thread to what you feel is the appropriate section.

Matt...That is great news about you being cancer-free! That just means you have LOTS more time, with your family, and the on tables, in front of you! Best wishes for staying healthy!:D

Matt,

That's awesome news. What a relief.

I was away on vacation so this is one of the first posts I read. Congrats!

Chris

So good to hear that...my Mom went through a battle with breast cancer and won...so far. Hope everyone stays healthy...

Great news Matt and Congrats. I, for one, am glad you didnt put this in the NPR section, because then I would have NEVER seen it. I do feel sorry for the people on here that are so simple-minded that they cant skip a thread they dont want to read. JMO.
