Good place to hole up and play for 3 days solid

GO HAWKS!
So I haven't played in bloody ages due to the poor places to play here in town (favourite place closed then re-opened w/ crap tables etc) and also really havent had the time. So I must ask, where is a decent place (city or pool hall) that one could go for a 3 or 4 day weekend and hole up and play 6-10 hours a day practicing and the like and not break the bank due to high table time and not be a horrible environment. Location in relation to me isn't a huge deal either drivi9ng or flying (have a couple free flights at my disposal).
The logical place seems to be Hard Times in Sacramento, as it is closest, but I have also thought of heading back to Portland and hanging out at Sam's Hollywood or Classic on 122nd if it is still open.

Thoughts? Opinions? Have I lost my bloody mind?

Try The Jointed Cue in Sacramento. It's on Fruitridge Rd. Great place with alot of history. You would like it I'm sure. Don

As far as cost goes, Hard Times Sac is pretty tough to beat as their membership fee is something like $70 a month for all you can play anytime as long as there is no line and they are open late on weekends.

I was also thinking a roadtrip to Fargo could be in order...

I'd drive the 2 extra hours and hit Minneapolis. Lot's a great pool halls here to play in!

If I had my choice, I'd fly to Charlotte, NC and play there! If you are interested in either, let me know as I can recommend many places and hook you up with folks in both places.

I would seriously consider Katy Girls place in Portland. I guess Glen was holed up there for 6 days straight and I heard the equipment is top notch:wink:.

From Reno;

Hard Times in Sac. or California Billiards in Mt. View. Depending on when you came, you could catch some nice tournament action at either place.

Feel free to pm me if you need more info
