Gorilla Glue Super Glue...Review

Just tried it on a Triangle tip. Popped the tip when I hit it with my cutting tool. I would not recommend this stuff for putting on tips. I'll stick with my Locktite Pro.

Several people on here have used it and say it works well its not fast working but solid. I use it for pool table repairs and its strong. Remember you have to WET one side with water to activate the glue. Do a search on Gorilla Glue.

That'd be the white gorilla glue. Not their super glue one.
The white gorilla glue is pound for pound the best imo.
 
I didnt relize they made a super glue also. The white I have used with great success. I have only found 1-2 super glues that work for tips not a lot of good options nowadays for tip glue.

how long is the set up time? i have used the sale locktite for 12 years or so. i glue add pressure 1 mintue later im cutting. no problems what-so-ever

if it aint broke dont fix it :wink: :wink: :wink:

I tried it and had the same experience. I pitched the remainder of the tube.

It dont take long to find out if something dont work well.
Super Glue Gel has proven to be fast and strong time and time again.
I would hazzard a guess that most cue makers and repair people use it over anything else.
But if the tip and ferrule is not correctly prepped and the super glue properly applied it can fail or cause clicks.
