Gorst vs Bergman

Man I feel the exact same way. Fedor has ruined the jump cue for me. Credit to the man cause I know he must of put in a lot of time getting that efficient with it, but he’s too good with it lol. I like the rule idea you can only use it when your opponent hooks you. Between the Aranas match and some shots last night, for me it’s hard to enjoy the game when Fedor hooks himself and it doesn’t matter. He just jumps it in like a straight in shot, gets shape and runs out.

Yes. If everyone had the same proficiency with a jump cue,I would never watch another match!

Fedor won first three on the day. Justin got one back and put down a four-pack. Has it down to single digits now. 38-29 Fedor.

The Iceberg playing great today.

He ran 7 or 8 pack I think 😮

No, Berg won 9 games in a row today after Gorst won the first 3, but the B&R packages in that stretch were 4 and 2, with the 4 being the highest for either player to that point. But Gorst just ran a 4-pack to take a 20-game lead 56-36.

The count really doesn’t tell the story.
What’s the real story? That Gorst is even better than the count? It’s certainly not that Gorst simply found a good break first that gave him wide open racks more. Gorst has been frequently eschewing the safety or even the push out play, opting instead for the jump-power-draw shot; the jump draw break out; the middle-of-the-table stretched-out full-ball jump; the one-ball-width, half-ball full-table jump; etc.

yeah. He’s really playing head and shoulders above another top pro. That Gorst is really strong - and his career is just getting started!

I was implying for those not watching that may think Justin is playing badly. There simply is no defense against fedor.
