LOL, this^ I bet you tell the ladies you're going to take them to pole-land!

I usually just burst in shouting “Hey laaaadies, who wants to get pregnant?” But I could try that too.

You don’t need any of those old ploys any more. The equations are a real chick magnet. :grin-square:

Good luck with the shirt,
Dave

Dr. Dave,

I think I just ordered correctly using the link and Paypal.

I selected a size medium prior to clicking on the payment icon.

In my Paypal remittance, I neglected to confirm the size as medium.

Shipping is to Fresno, CA 93711 if you care to check the order (Matt Brennan).

About a week ago I had forgotten to take my case in the house after a night of shooting so when I got to school where I teach history I took my case in with me. My ninth graders had all finished a test and with about 15 minutes of time to spare, someone spotted my case. They wanted to see my cues and of course how much they cost. I showed them my Predator and they wanted to know what made it so expensive and better than a regular cue. I proceeded to give them a quick lesson on most of the concepts which are demonstrated on your shirt. They were really impressed and now most of them want me to teach them how to shoot pool. I’m going to have to get this shirt soon and wear it to school. Maybe it will inspire a future pro or maybe pool could spark an interest in math and physics for some young person.

You order was received correctly. Sorry the website experience wasn’t more seamless and intuitive. One of these days, I need to have somebody help me modernize my websites.

Enjoy the shirt,
Dave

Im glad to hear it. Your students are lucky to have somebody like you who shares your passion (for pool and physics) with them, especially as a history teacher!

FYI, here are some good teaching and learning resources that might help you and other interested colleagues (maybe math and physics teachers):

pool-in-school teaching and learning resources

I also try to share my passion for pool and pool physics with my mechanical engineering students every chance I get. Here's a video interview my university marketing people did showing how I incorporate my passion for pool into the engineering classroom.

Regards,
Dave

just ordered mine..
look forward to wearing it....

No junior/youth sizes?
Sorry, but the smallest I have is men's small. Young kids seem to like their T-shirts on the large side, so hopefully the men's small or medium will work for many juniors.

After seeing Jin in the photo next to Alex Pagulayan, where Alex looked huge in comparison, I know Jin must be quite small, so the men's small might be a bit big for him, unless he likes the "relaxed fit" like most kids nowadays.

Regards,
Dave

PS: With the five sizes I have (S, M, L, XL, XXL), there are already big stacks of T-Shirts all over the floor in my home office, so I don't think my wife would appreciate it if I start ordering a bunch more sizes. Large numbers of shirts take up a lot of space. If I offer more sizes and different shirt designs in the future, I'll need to figure out a better way to store them. Anybody out there with experience with this sort of thing have any suggestions?

Shelves in the garage?

That's a good idea, but the shelves would need to be fairly large. The shirts come from the supplier in large boxes in stacked half-folded wads that are very large (especially the XL and XXL, which appear to be the most-requested sizes). I could reduce the footprint by individually folding each shirt before storing them, but that would not be very fun. But maybe that's the best way to go since I need to fold them to fit in the shipping envelopes before sending them out anyway.

Thanks,
Dave

When I used to race.... I had tons of swag for giveaways, used to use these in the garage from home depot and cheap:

I use "banker's" boxes for books. Those are boxes that come with removable tops and handles. Easy to deal with, keeps the dust off, and stackable to about four or maybe five for something light like shirts. I have found them for $1 each on sale at Office Depot. Alternatively, Lowe's has sturdy moving boxes in various sizes.

Another good idea.
