Grady mathews update...

Just got off the phone with Grady...he sounded good - voice was raspy from the chemo but stronger than in past phone calls. Told me he's been home since Monday. Said the extended care facility he was in was excellent but it's always good to get home. Grady said he's got a few more chemo treatments to get through & then the doctor will give him a prognosis. Said he goes to his pool room daily for a little while. Appreciates all the flowers, cards & letters - has been great to realize how many people are pulling for him. Just made his plans for Derby City - will be there Friday through Wednesday - and, of course, the One Pocket Hall of Fame Dinner. Hopes to see you all there!!!

Great news! I saw on the one pocket.org site that he intends to make the Derby. Very cool and a reason for many to go and wish him well.

You are an angel of good news. Wishing Grady a speedy recovery. The medical technology today is amazing. My brother got through chemo and today is the picture of health. With friends and loved ones by Grady's side, he can overcome this. He's very fortunate to have friends like you and others in his corner rooting for him.

This is great news! It definitely makes my day, and now I'll have to really commit to going to the DCC for a couple days at least.
