I've tried a couple of public UK proxies and they all work for me. Some require a couple of tries before the packets find their way... But having a personal proxy is not required.
A little heads up though, some Codeen proxies aren't actually in the UK. It seems like the IP keeps changing every time you use one of them.
So verify your IP then check where it is. If it returns as UK, go to the BBC page and start watching with commentary from the great WT, JP, Dennis Taylor, John Virgo and even Ken Dorothy
If you gents (and lasses possibly) need me to write a long step by step howto guide let me know. But the internet is full of site explaining how to work a proxy and doing this isn't easy, straight forward or automatic. It is going to require quite a bit of trial and error. So those of you how aren't willing to do a little research yourself are also going to be dissatisfied with a howto guide that's gonna take me the rest of the day to write and would probably take you at least an hour to implement and verify that it's all working.
On top of that the lifetime of the public proxies is usually only a day or two so once you have found one and set up your computer, you could have to do it all over again tomorrow.
