GrayGhost

Yes, that is Keebie, aka greyghost. He did a great job on those videos.

Thanks Scott, now I can put a face with his writings. Which, by the way, would leave one to think that he is much older than he appears. He always goes into great detail when responding to a post/thread and it all makes sense.

John...I had a great time working with Keebie, and he has done a good job sharing that knowledge (and more) with others. He is patient, enthusiastic and a good communicator...all hallmarks of a good teacher!

as scott said its me, the video editor is our very own marcus norwood (mnorwood) who runs an afterschool pool program in the houston area.

Thanks very much for the compliments guys:D, I'm currently working on putting up more information especially on that shadow referencing method i've been working on the proofs for so long now lol.....but hey its helping my photoshop skills :)

Your welcome John on the video......We had a little lighting problems so I had to change clothes so I didn't look like i was radiating lol.....we even set up a TelePrompTer and I tried to read it.....alas I am no Obama, for the TelePrompTer and I didn't get along well. I am very skilled at just talking and talking tho lol, so marcus had the brilliant idea to just ask me a question or two and I just begain to elaborate as well as I could off cuff from A to Z or as close as I could on such a broad subject. The three videos (fundamentals #1&2 , 9ball break) are imop a good starting point for me to refine, add and grow the info to make available to everyone scratching their heads for an answer (all of us from time to time :) I was happiest that I didn't stutter and say UHMMMMM 50000 times, which is why i didn't use the TelePrompTer lmfao it had me off the air for sure :)

John if you ever have any questions dont hesitate to shout. Gimme a jingle sometime @ 318-332-7240 or email me at keebie2@yahoo.com

by the way look at marcus's other videos on his site www.youtube.com/forcefollow there are a few other ones that i showed him that he made along with many many others he's done himself, he's even begun to put up some Billiards (straightrail/3cush) information. Very informative and easy to understand, he does a great job.

best wishes,
Keeb'-

Thanks for the reply.

I have noticed that most effective pool players today do not have the tip of their elbow directly behind their shoulder when in the shooting position. The elbow appears to be in more toward their body. Do you have any thoughts on this alignment?

I studied 3c billiards with Harry Sims. I dont care to play 3c but the information and practicing he shared with me has helped me in 1P and 9B.
Its real nice to know exactly how to roll the cue ball around for position or a safety.

Thanks once again for your contribution to the game and I look forward to your next installment.

Watching your video I have changed my grip (dont like to use the word grip it implies holding a baseball bat) keeping my shooting hand at my side on the pre stance and working on the pendulum stroke with a proper finish.

I started playing pool at the age of 15 in 1963. At that time no one would help a kid with the game, it was like everything was a big secret.

With todays information highways their is absolutely no excuse for a kid today not to be able to have access to proper instruction.

I have been following Force Follow for a few years and enjoy all the work that Marcus has shared with the public. Having Marcus ask you questions during the video was a great idea. He asked all the right questions.

Oh, I have been working on the ball shadows, interesting.

Thanks again.

John
