won't know that

They pay twice this much and get junk

Evan clark made some really great schon cues then he quit and made some Segens
59 inches long with ivory like joints

plays like a schon only softer, stiffer and better to his way of thinking

Campbell special

i got 2 of the last ones
$5oo for one

$700 for a real fancy one

leather or lizard

you can't find a better cue for anywhere near this price

you don't need pictures, the way this little lady plays
it would not matter if she looked like PTUNIA PIG
you are going to be so busy playing that you won't have time to look at pictures
of this cue

your opponents will be looking while you are playing

I would actully give you this cue if you would send me 20% of your winnings
but as you know pool players get funny when money is concerned

trust me,send the money and don't ask a bunch of questions

This a good deal

I have seen the fancy one, and it is really nice. I was going to try to borrow
it for two or three years, but I am somewhat vertically challenged and
like a shorter cue. DEANOC has recently been raving about how great
longer cues play, so since we go way back I agreed to borrow one (J C)
from him to check out his claims. If what he says about the longer cues
is correct, I will start whining about wanting to borrowing the fancy
Segen, reminding him of all the favors he owes me. If he balks saying it
is sold or sale is pending, I'll tell him I'll do that 20% deal and he'll charter
a jet to get it to me. This is REALLY a cool cue.

You want pictures ?

C’mon, stop the tease and let’s see some pictures...

Sometimes you just cannot unsee something you've seen

dear woofish

where is the cue callled the best of anything
perhaps it would help to read before commenting

meanwhile the cue is a dandy if you got the money
find out for yourself

everyone so far has been happy with their cue

Segens are good cues. I own two of them. They are perfect and the straightest cues I have ever seen. Only other cues I have had that were this straight were a Cognoscenti and a Jeff Olney. I have owned over eighty customs.

honestly i have not seen many cues that were not straight

all the big names are usually straight
but then again wood can move a little

honestly i once was playing very good and someone poiinted out my shaft was rolling

it didn't even affect my game

i have heard lots of good players say the same thing

i will admit i played cautiously once they told me
after the game the cue was straight

but i digress

I won't mention names but I had a cue from one of the biggest Hall Of Fame cue makers and the cue was crooked when assembled. I had to face off the shaft to straighten the thing out. I think sometimes big name cue makers get complacent and don't really check their work before shipping.

Same, iv'e had 500+ cues and ill guarantee all of them were not perfectly straight. In fact you rarely see a cue that is perfect. People talk about the "SW roll" but all the SW's I have had have been straight, so were mine not as good cause they didnt come with their standard factory roll lol. I will say, and just to keep with the thread that out of all the production cues I have had the Schons have been the best in that aspect.

When you say "you can't find a cue better for this money" for each and every cue, that's when you say it's the best... Whatever man... Keep doing your thing... You somehow get away with never posting a pic in the mean time...

Concerning Jackpot

he is an old friend and enters into these threads in a spirit of fun
He did see the cues and liked it ,but he is recommending the cues as a favor to me

most everyone knows this, but in case you don't
it is all in a spirit of good humor

The Schon's are all good. Many were built by Evan Clarke. I have never seen a bad Schon. They really have good quality control. Can't go wrong with buying one.
