I was looking for a cue to raffle off at the local tournament that I run and also wanted a set of custom joint protectors for my personal cue...Jim made me a nice set of JP's and sold me a cue. He was great to deal with, kept me up to date on what was going on and had everything shipped out to me ahead of schedule...Buy with confidence from Jim!!!

I dont know if these threads mean anything to the AZB members. To some I'm probably stating the obvious about Jim, but with all the rip-off threads that I have seen lately (not just on this forum) I think its a good way to remind everyone that there are still good people out there that will hang their reputation on their name and the work that they do. Plus if there is someone new to the forum that might be thinking about buying from a member here threads like these might put their mind at ease...

I could not agree more about Jim. I have dealt with him in the past and he has always been excellent. I, in fact, just contacted him today about another order for me.

Jim is about as honest as they come.

When you see the cue, you might not want to raffle it off. In other words, someone will get a nice cue.

The cue is a production cue but Jim gave me a price that was more than fair...one of these days I may have to check out Jim's cue work

Jim does super great great work and is not only good to deal with, but is fun also. You can tell he loves the game. He made me jp's and an extension for my first custom cue. After a nine month wait, and only having it for four days, I shipped my cue to Jim. I rattled off my design ideas and Jim basically told me "when I see the cue, I'll know what to do." He hit the nail right on the head. Anyone who has spent time in Roanoke Virginia, The Star City of the South, will agree with me. I asked him to hit a few balls with my cue and he was very complimentary. I thought it was really cool that he complimented a cue he didn't make.

Jim's work can be seen in my avatar. Thanks Jim!

Jim just completed jp's for my new Sugartree. I can't wait till till they get here. He is a super guy. I didn't know he was in Washington State and I called him once about a case (super case for the money-4x8 butterfly) and once to order the jp's. Well I live in SC and I was calling him around 6am his time (really sorry Jim didn't know you were on West Coast) and I could tell he must have just been waking up because he sounded like James Earl Jones. He didn't call me names or block me. Hell he didn't even say, "look asshole its 630 in the damn morning!" Jim really treats his people well and provides terrific service and craftsmanship. I promise now that I know where you are, I will never call before 9 am.

My favorite cue that I have owned to date was a Baxter (upwards of 20 cues to compare against)! And Jim was AWESOME to work with, kept me more than informed everytime he touched my cue throughout the build! Phone calls, emails, and pics every step of the way! 5 stars for this guy!
