Thanks for all of the great input, guys! I have compiled a list of music that I am not familiar with and will try the songs out and will buy the ones that I like...

Bottom - Tool

"Bottom" is great, but also check out "Sober" and "Prison Sex" by Tool.

Also, I haven't seen Rage Against the Machine mentioned, great music for playing 9ball.

I never see it on a jukebox but has anybody
mentioned " Rack Em Up" by Johnny Lang?
One of the best pool songs.

I think ...

that all below A level players should be made to listen to nothing, but
Whitney Houston's 'Step by Step' ......... :D

Frankenstein - Edgar Winters
Shook me all Night Long - AC/DC
Little Wing - Stevie Ray Vaughn
Seether - Veruca Salt
Peace Pipe - Cry of Love
tons more..... too many to list
Chuck

I don't know how anyone can have AC/DC playing loud and still concentrate on pool. Their screeching (can it really be called "singing") is like having someone do the fingernails on the chalk board thingy....

How about some nice orchestra music, jazz maybe?....something to relax the mind and allow it to function to its fullest abilities? Yeah, right...in a pool hall.

LOL! You and I are in agreement about AC/DC,
