Great Pool Gifts you got for Xmas

WAYYYYY COOL!! Congrats. :)

LOL, did you go shopping for yourself or is your better half that in tune with you?!?!?:p

I put some pool stuff on my list but didn't get it. It's ok though... I got other stuff that I asked for. It's easier for me to get my pool stuff anyway...my santa has no clue about pool.

She picked it all out, (she did ask me the thread and type for the new joint protectors). To be fair, it does help that I have a list of every book, video, DVD, and training gadget I own.

She also bought me a ton of new clothing.:)

God, I sure do love my wife!

BTW, Timberly I hope you had a great Christmas, and I wish you all the best in the coming new year.:)

WOWZERS...sounds like you had a nice Christmas...

and you live in an awesome area of the country....I live in Shitwater, MI.. I'm seriously considering moving to the Philly area....:)

Thanks Showboat!:)

If you ever do move to the Philly area just make sure you find out about the area you're considering. There are nice safe areas and there are really nasty areas. And whatever you do, stay out of Camden NJ. Camden is the nastiest highest crime city in the US.

I got a RAZR V3-C phone, Ipod Nano, Fossil watch, Pioneer home theater (for my birthday) and a JVC GR-D244U MiniDV digital video camera.

She's definitely a keeper!! A lot of guys have trouble with their wives when it comes to pool. It sounds like your wife is very supportive...that's awesome!

I did have a nice Christmas, thank you. With a woman you love by your side who is as supportive as she is... I'm sure you'll have a wonderful new year too. :)

My GF got me a pool table for X-mas. Now the decision is where it goes...My place or hers? I know it sounds simple till the part where the ONE room in my house that it will fit is tight and a short cue would be needed. At her place...Garage with space o plenty. Out goes the car...in goes the table. Hmmm:confused:

Sounds like you need to move:(

Go figure, Money magazine's best place to live in the US (Moorestown) is only about 10 miles away from the worst.

LOLz...I did some research on the area around Philly and found out that Camden is a stinkhole...

I was thinking about checking out the western side of Philly or one of the satellite cities like Darby....

I was through the area with a friend who is from Mountainside, NJ....that area seemed pretty nice...we went on down to Atlantic City too in June....AC is awesome in the summer...around the casinos anyways....;)

Isn't that inonic how that happens...

it's probably because Moorestown pushed whatever scumbags out and they infested Camden....

Right now I'm in Levittown, PA.... the last exit on the PA turnpike before you get into Jersey. I call it Philly but it's really north of Philly. It's not a bad little area. I don't live here, I just come visit a friend during the holidays. My friends have lived here for about 6 yrs and they enjoy it.... so far no problems. :)

Most of my stuff wasn't pool related, but we did give each other our poolroom - Diamond, shimmed to 4 3/8, Mali 820 cloth, carpeting, paint.

The kids gave us Master's chalk, bar cues, balls, cue holder, table spots, rack, 8 ball clock, Slip Stic x2.

We gave each other stuff for the IPT - new clothes. I got a thingy that controls your home tv and Tivo from your laptop no matter where you go - so that means we can watch HBO from Orlando if they don't have it at the hotel. Plus you can program and watch Tivo away from home to make sure to get those pool programs while I am sweating other pool matches at the IPT or traveling for business.

No, Moorestown was always a very well-to-do area. And it'll be even better when TO moves out.:p

I have directions to the place and plan on visiting it during one of my trips out here. I was going to go today but plans got changed around and now I'm babysitting until the aunt gets here to take over & then I have to head home. One of these days I will go check it out.... when I know for sure, I'll let ya'll know. Maybe a small group of people in the area would like to meet up there and shoot a few games. :)

God Camden is so bad. Couldnt pay me to live there. If you havent been there you cant imagine how bad it is.
