Griff's in Las Vegas

I stopped watching tv 12ish years ago, it’s all BS. Of course everything on FB must be true, right?
On Facebook?! Yes, of course it is real..everyone knows that. The girls that randomly show up on my page liking all my posts and wanting to IM me all love me and want to have freaky sex...now! This one is from today...

😍 😍 😍

I'm guessing web cam model, only fans chick or a test from my girlfriend.

Amusing.

Thanks, yes that page is private.

As Michael has said, will need to hear the other side of the story.

Usually when Taffer has a problem with the manager, it is because he/she has been letting the employees get away with acts that cost the owner $$$. It usually is overpouring drinks, giving freebees out to customers, or being drunks themselves. We'll see on Sunday.

The "Bar Rescue" website on Paramount channel does not list "Griff's" in its Season 8 episodes. https://www.paramountnetwork.com/shows/bar-rescue

As an aside, I have read Gary Lutman's posts on FB promoting tournaments and showcasing menu items at Griff's. I feel very sorry for him if he's been made the brunt "Bar Rescue" show for Griff's lack of success. Hard to believe.

Maybe it's happened and it's not been shown but sometimes he deserves a punch in his big mouth and to be shown the door.
Actually, I always thought the opposite. The folks who cross contaminate your food, serve you food on dirty dishes and allow rodents, pests and other crap in the kitchen, don't know how to clean a soda gun or prevent fruit flies from entering the liquor bottles should be the ones punched in the throat,,,,, not the guy going there to correct their failures ;)

Yes you are right, but sometimes he goes overboard for the cameras.
I think he gets a little piece of the places he renovates.

Bar Rescue is drama, if you removed the drama of Taffer calling names, throwing things, and acting like no one know anything.

The show would be boring, many of his saves have survived. Many have went under.

Wonder with his win to close ratio is? I though Griff’s was place with act together. Never seen much bad about it.

Will watch this Bar Rescue as I alway watch show, is is not real. The joke is at end of show Taffer has staff in front of New Bar, they act like they never saw the place. Total bulls***. Show is no more real then Santa Claus delivering toys all over world in 24 hours.

Have not been to Las Vegas sine 2007, have no plans to go.

Las Vegas use to be cheap rooms, cheap good food, fun weekend. In 2021 everything is pricy from room, to food. Greedy corporations charge you to park your car at your hotel, and have “resort fees” on top of room rates.

Celebrity Chef restaurants, replaced many food deals, with high prices.

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I think that's his personality as well. He doesn't tolerate incompetence very well. So, I understand and appreciate that. And some for the camera as well.... I agree there :)

I doubt he gets a piece of the action otherwise he would have them on speed dial ensuring they are doing what is needed, and sending folks back to check in to make sure they don't fuk it up.

I'm sure someone that failed would have said something by now, especially saying "how could they make it, Taffer had his hand in the till" lol

'IF' is the key word here. No one except those involved know what really happened. I got a pretty good take of what happened by a buddy who goes there almost daily. I'm going to watch to see if the show is close to what i'm hearing.

If I remember correctly the businesses reach out to the show because they aren't doing well. So if the business is reaching out, they already acknowledge an issue. From what I have read there isn't a lot of scripted drama on the show because redoing all that stuff in a week or so is very hectic anyways. I think John may play it up for the camera though because everything these days is about ratings and revenue. I don't think Tapper takes anything from the places he helps. He makes enough from the network.

He gets paid by the network. He's not getting a piece of the joint he helps overhaul.

Well Mr. Taffer is apparently an expert at running bars, and hahad long successful career.

Not sure he is really the person he play in TV persona, but apparently he & his experts do understand quality, consistency, clean, good service are important to having successful business.

Taffer rescued servers bars in Phoenix, one was Irish Pub. It is still open & busy. Sure Taffer said he saved it, might be staff kept doing things right after Taffer left.

Well whatever hes doing hes doing it well.

According to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Jon Taffer's net worth is an estimated $14 million.

He has said in an interview (tried to find the link but couldn't) that the failure rate is about 20%. Taffer is also the man behind NFL Sunday Ticket.

Jon Taffer saves bars that are on the verge of shutting down on his reality show Bar Rescue. So far, he has rescued 188 bars across the United States. While 94 of them have remained afloat, 84 have shut their doors.Dec 24, 2020
