GTF 1x2 Pocket(s)

Has anyone added a pocket to their GTF 1x2 case, which has no pockets, that looks, and is, professionally done?
I have a black lizard print I would like a pocket added, similar to the size of the bottom pocket of the GTF 2x4 or like on the It's George.
My buddy said he would just duct tape a camera case, I said I figure you would!

You could sew on a pocket but you might destroy the exisitng leather trying to take it off of the interior. Would probably be easier to have the pocket on a sleeve that you could slide on to the outside of case.

Have you tried asking John Barton? He designed these cases for GTF, and may have a nicer aftermarket pocket solution.

There used to be case storage pockets sold with velcro straps. Don't know if they are sold anymore. I have seen them used on a leather tube case, but when removed there were permanent marks in the leather. Something to consider.

Any permanent solution would likely either be cost prohibitive or disappointing...or both.

Why not just look for an It's George case? Or have one made? You can also find a Thomas case with storage occasionally.

I talked to a guy who works at the jb booth, he said they sell a strap pocket which you could convert to a lower pocket with some velco. They have one the size you would want.
