My guess is Lambros, although the veneers make me hesitate a bit. From what I can remember, he uses a slightly thinner veneer than this.

OK. Yes. Yes it is. Was it really that easy? Oh well.

Cue hits great. Balance is pretty much the same as my others. I have it paired up with his Ultra shaft and it's a dream. The shaft, I've had for about a month now and it threw me off for a bit. But now that it's all been figured, life on the cloth is good again.

The veneers are not of his normal color stock. He out-sourced some for me. Maybe that's why it may look thicker than what we've come to expect. They are still very thin. The five may be what some other's three be in width. Points are all very even and sharp sharp sharp! I wanted a flame veneered cue. I asked him to make this for me. He may have been grinding his teeth together during the entire build, but I think it came out awesome and I couldn't be happier.

I love the rings. I love the windows (those were an added surprise). I love the figures in the woods. Shafts included. I love the overall look. I love that it's wrappless. I love that he made me what I wanted!!

Cool looking cue, I think the really long points and the rings are definitely Lambrosesque. I would love to see a pic of the entire butt.

Thanks for sharing and enjoy the cue.

awesome

Very beautiful brilliant veneers. I love the gold ring work, is it real gold and ivory? I'd love to see the whole cue do you have any other pictures? Thanks for sharing. Donnie:thumbup:

Thanks for the nice words. It truly is a stunning cue. And the way it plays is simply amazing. I know I've mentioned that it's similar to my other Lambroses, but I actually execute shots with far less effort with this one. Maybe it's the weight. Maybe it's because Mike's getting better with every cue he builds. I know it's not the just his Ultra shaft. The shaft is carried over from my last. Whatever it is, it's bringing me big ass grins

Here's a full cue pic (not the most artistic, but it's entire) :

Mike's cues deserves more exposure. I don't know if it's because he's the best kept secret and mums the word when it comes to his products, but I don't see enough about his stuff in this forum. His prices are not ridiculous for the quality of craftsmanship and wood selection. I have another cue in the works with a 'killer' piece of ambonya coming. He's very straight forward and honest when talking over the phone with. If he says he's got purple heart, but it's not the prettiest of pretties, he'll tell it like it is. The man is an artist. The colors for contrast and shapes for symmetry all creates balance. So his end product is not only that of a balanced physical product, but also balanced visually. I certainly enjoy his label and I wished that more of you out there reading would also. His website is, for the most part, dated and it doesn't really showcase his abilities. But the man is a cue engineer and not a web designer. I understand that with the added exposure comes the eventual inevitable increase is prices and wait time, but he deserves it and welcomes it.

Thanks for reading,
xJ
