Bacote. Only other thing I would say might be kingwood.

The natural light changes things. The bacote camp might want to rethink and regroup.

I like going against the majority. That's just me though. It is a beautiful cue though.

Bocote is a rosewood.

I guessed right? The wood has a color that is right slap dab in the middle of yellow and orange having qualities of both colors depending on how bright the light is.

Maybe you have an albino bocote.
Bocote is mustard when you cut them, then they just keep getting darker.
The clear coat and epoxy base coat change things as well.
