If you had guessed "Marop" you would have been correct.

lfigueroa said:This is like completely and totally unfair. The guy has got a beautiful table and room. I presume the cloth and balls are impeccable,.
His preferred music to listen to -- no head banging metal blasting out of the juke box.
No busty barmaids leaning over and asking him he's "OK" every 10 minutes.
Shoot, for all we know, his wife promised him a BJ for every 50 ball run.

Marop said:Life is good but I don't own that great looking Gina that you have.
PS. I do put new cloth on about every 18 months.
lfigueroa said:OK, I know the Gina is nice and you look *really* familiar, but I also have to admit my memory is berry bad (goin' fast too, so I have to ask: how do you know about the Gina?

Marop said:The rail rubber is original, the table is only four years old. The room is A/C and heated so the temp and humidity stays the same all year long. Schmidty says the table plays perfect, he prefers these rails over Diamonds for straight pool because thay are not quite as "boingy" as he calls it.
I have a Ballstar ball cleaner and use it once a day generally.
My biggest issue is I have so much light in the room that when I go to a poolroom it seems dark to me, I guess its old age.
metallicane said:Thanks for the info. I have a Ball Star too and clean them once a week. Maybe I should do it more. What do you clean your table with? I have found that Chalk Off really doesn't get all of the chalk off.

Marop said:I help Bob Jewett in the DCC straight pool room, we sat and talked last year for a couple of hours while watching. You showed me the Gina and told me about one you sold a while back. I was so jealous![]()
lfigueroa said:ah yes! I remember now. Thanks.
Are you going to give Bob's 14.1 Challenge a shot this year?
