Guess who's back... could it be fast larry

FL is on record of running more balls in 14.1 than you did :p

How are you going to shove a cell phone up Larry if you are one foot in the grave? Maybe you aren't as sick as you would like everyone to think.

PS It doesn't behoove professionals to blast each other. David, this is beyond you.
I guess when David starts blasting a professional player we'll worry about it. I have never seen David blast a pro player, have you?

George

I can't ever remember FL winning a turnament here in Atlanta other then maybe a APA event. He is not considered one of the top players here.Maybe in his own mind.I don't know how he played when he was younger but based on what I've seen him do over the years I would consider him a C player at best.

You're right, Ray, Larry is indeed a better player than anybody in the entire world, including me.

One foot in the grave? Ok. Keep listening to Larry's stories instead of finding out the facts. I work 16 hour days every day and I enjoy every minute of it. I am hardly in the grave. I have battled back from a debilitating neurological disorder, cancer, and other ailments. These illnesses are a direct result of Gulf War Illness. I served proudly in the first Gulf War with the United States Army. Larry has repeatedly stated that my problems were due to drug abuse. I have been clean and sober since December 6, 1986 and I have had no physical problems due to things I did durig that period of my life. Tell Larry I'm going to stick his tall tales up his a$$ along with my foot.

If Larry was considered a profesional, I would pay attention to your last comment. I went out of my way to give Larry respect and friendship and in return he has dragged me into a confrontation that I have no interest in. This is beyond me? Go to RSB every day and look at some of the nonsense he generates towards me and see how many times I have responded to him there or anywhere for that matter. If I see Larry it will not be a pleasant encounter for him. Take that anyway you'd like. I'll handle it in person, not with my keyboard. That is what men do. If there's anything he needs to say I will give him the opportunity to say it to my face, considering he has the guts or the nuts to show up. IMO, you're about as intelligent and nonsensical as he is and Mike should have banned you a long, long time ago with Larry.

Whitewolf here's a challenge call any large pool room around Atlanta and ask for FL.He is not none here as some great pool player. He does have some nollage of the game and can be helpful when he wants to.But to consider him some top level pro is way out of touch. Most anyone can compete in the events he enters pay your money and your a member. The last time I saw him shoot was at the Viking Tour in Duluth Ga more then a year ago.He wasn't favored. If you would like bring him to Cue's 2 any Monday night. There's a good turnament A+ to D players. We will put him in as a C and see how long he last.

NoBull9, yeah, he can come to Mr Cues ll and match up with Stevie, who, by the way, never heard of him.

whitewolf, If you had EVER been harrased by that jerk, and I, like Blackjack, have, MAYBE you'd know what we're talking about. I don't care about his so-called records. He's a maniac. Like Blackjack says, go on over to rsb and check it out for yourself, or maybe you're one of his MANY incarnations.

Sadly, Fast Larry Guninger/Grindinger will be unable to match up with anyone for money. A golfball hit him in the eye, he fell off the roof ladder and hurt his arm or back, tripped over broken water pipes in his yard, has the flu, is hungover and the dog ate his homework.....

Doug
( yet, he still maintains his Pro status in his mind, all while going two 'n out and NEVER winning a match )

Well, here's my opinion about the infamous "Fast Larry." Brace yourself, my dear readers of the forum! :o

Fast Larry has expressed himself on numerous forums utilizing different personas. He is a pool player who loves the game of pool, has a deeper passion than most, and isn't afraid to share bits of wisdom he accumulated in his life with others.

When he is insulted, he then goes to a whole lot of effort to defend himself, some of which I do not enjoy reading. However, if folks would just leave the poor guy alone, he may provide some interesting tidbits.

Unfortunately, an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth is how Fast Larry reacts when flames erupt. If readers would not ignite the flame or keep fanning the forum fires, maybe Fast Larry would not having anyone to fight with.

JMHO, FWIW!

how do A+ players match up with B, C, D in that tournament?

I suspect they give up a number of games on the wire, but
I'd really like to how many games. That is quite a difference
in skill level.

Hi JAM. Don't take this personally because, after all, we don't all see eye to eye on everything and it's totally fine for us to share a different opinion. So, with that said, is seems like what you're suggesting is that we all walk on egg shells so as not to get Larry going. The problem is, it doesn't take a personal attack on him to get him started. He'll start the personal attacks completely unprovoked. How can everyone just leave him alone? It is impossible to have an adult discussion with the guy if you happen to have a different opinion than him on whatever topic is being discussed. Not that anything we say here is going to change much because he's banned but, just for the sake of offering a different opinion here, I don't think that everyone walking on egg shells so Larry doesn't go postal is a realistic solution.

Then I would suggest that you go on over to his forum and get all of his "tidbits" of racist comments, insults, goofy personalities, and overall ridiculousness. Larry has been given many opportunities on this forum and others. In the end his lack of social skills and his insanity win out over providing good information to the forum members. Larry has always prided himself about firing the first shot in all of his encounters, so you're wrong with your "eye-for-an-eye" theory with Larry. He is a menace and the only purpose he serves is to disrupt the forums with his craziness and his lies. Start a poll in order to see who wants him back or for who else in this world would refer to him as a "poor guy".

Blackjack, there was a time when I would agree with your words of wisdom on all counts, until you gave me bad rep for posting about Hustling brand clothing line. In fact, sometimes when I read your posts, they seem to have two different tempos.

As far as Fast Larry is concerned, I do not read very many of his posts because the titles of the threads usually contain your name and Debra Li's.

I think he does go overboard at times, but then so too do some others from time to time.

The only thing I have to say to you is this.

:D

A C player go's to 4.
A player go's to 11.
Its not as easy as it looks
C players generaly don't run more the 5 balls somtimes they get out based on how well the rack looks.
A players run out and when they don't they play better safes so when you get a shot your jumping at it or kicking.

I also remember apologizing for that more than once and asking if we could leave that in the past. For me, that is where it is. You continuously bring it up and hang on to it for reasons that are unknown to me. I have no beef with you at all. We disagreed on the IPT from every angle. I have other people that shared your point of view and I still maintain close friendships with them. Perhaps in the future we can put that behind us and resume the friendship we once had.

Please do show me where I have mentioned you giving me bad rep and "hang onto it" in the past.

Please do enlighten me.

There is only one person that I know of who has brought it up on numerous occasions, not only here at AzBilliards, but on other forums, and it was not you nor me.

There are people I know and care about in this thread and I would prefer not to see any arguments erupt over FL.

Please drop him and the whole topic before it gets any hotter.
