Guide to the BEST billiards and pool forums

Hey everyone,

About a month ago I posted a thread here asking for feedback on creating a resource that will help us all save time when looking for the best billiards and pool communities. I took suggestions (and gave away $50!) to clarify what are the best billiards and pool forums.

Since gathering that feedback – I’ve done about 50 hours worth of research/writing and put together a comprehensive comparison and review of the top forums.

If you think the guide provides some value – link to it. If you want to suggest improvements, please leave me a comment here or on my blog (www.billiardsblogger.com) .

Click here to start The Guide to the best billiards and pool forums.

Not surprisingly, AZ billiards made the list – click here to go straight to the review of AZ Billiards.

My next goal is to do a similar guide to determine the best billiards and pool blogs – come by my blog if you want to give me feedback on what you would like to see included in that guide.

All the best,
Billiardsblogger

PS. Don Mattiford won the $50 Amazon gift certificate – his quote is listed in the guide.

Very, very interesting link! Thanks for all the hard work it must have taken to create such an informative bit of pool information.

It does not surprise me one iota that AzBilliards enjoys a large share of interested readers. I have come to learn that there is a great deal of politics in this pool world, more than some may think. AzBilliards has always been a "straight shooter," providing the pool news as soon as it becomes available to them. I especially enjoy reading the insights from others around the world.

IMHO, AzBilliards has set a precedent, and I cannot see any website ever surpassing its success on the net. One may ask why AzBilliards is on top of the heap, and the only word that I can think of today, at this juncture, is "integrity."

GREAT WORK...
nice to see everything in one place...I didnt see anything new, still its nice to have a one stop shop..

Props for the work.. i know this had to take alot of time so I just want to say thanks...

AZ to me seems like a place where you go to "hang" with the guys.. kinda like your home pool hall... you learn alot from just being there...Alot of casual conversation and banter back and forth..good information and conversation..

Next in line for me would be easypooltutor.... good info on the nuts and bolts of playing pool... kinda like paid lessons from an instructor...
Sounds corny I know.. but thats the way I look at the two places..
pros and cons to both..

Thanks for all of the kind support. The traffic has been rollling into my site, so I guess that means people like the guide.

Please feel free to leave comments on my blog (or here) with suggestions/complaints/compliments. I want to update the guide on a regular basis, so getting some feedback would be great help in improving the content.

All the best.

It really shows you've put a lot of hours into this. Well done so far, and keep it coming!

Your poll missed one site: www.insidepoolmag.com . There are two Inside Pool websites and the insidepoolmag.com site has much more activity than insidepool.com. There's a big difference.

LMAO!

I can't beleive the person you quoted from AZ is the person least likely to say nice things about it and has been banned more than any other memeber, if memory serves me right....

SHORTY?

This guy will stay famous no matter what happens. LMAO!!!!!

BTW, billiardblogger, this is a fantasatic thing you have done. Thank you so much!
