Nope. Every one I've seen has been 3/8-10 flat faced (earliest sledgehammers) or Radial. Both USA & Taiwan radial pins were used. Not sure of the difference in radial pins (if any) but that's the way Mike told me they were made with the Taiwan radials being the latest before the brand was sold to Mcdermott.

Thanks deadnutz.. Apparently it may not be a slegehammer but it seems to look like one from pics. It has the same quick release pins at both points that come on the Orange Crusher... Weird...

Can you post up pics? Mr Gulyassy posts on this board.

I should've elaborated alittle. I recall my sledgehammer might have had a quick release pin at the jump handle portion but definitely not at the regular joint and 110% not piloted. There was a forum member (can't remember who) that listed a "sledgehammer" a month or so ago and it clearly wasn't a MG Sledgehammer. When brought to his attention he agreed it was a counterfeit and pulled the listing. I'd like you to post pictures if possible. If you don't know how send me a PM and I will post them for you.

Yes, there are some with piloted joints. Some with modified quick release joints. There were also some that had a 14 pin in that Samsara made shafts for.

I never sold it McDermott.

Over 14 years od the "Sledgehammer" era, I have made every type of pin that is, 3/8 10, 5/16 14 piloted and flat face, 5/16/ 18 flat face and radial both Chinese ans US. These all had a Sledgehammer logo on them or my name in several different looks over the years.

Thank you Mike and everyone for the replies! I find all the variations somewhat confusing at times.
