Thanks, ever since Gunsmoke has been back on I have been hoping to see it. I remember liking it when it was first on.
 
That's Jack Albertson playing the hustler. I've said it before: no actor, including Gleason and Orbach, has ever been more convincing as a highly skilled pool player. He had the same role in a modern-day setting in the short-lived series "Ironside" with Raymond Burr. GF
 
I really enjoyed that episode. I was not able to record it for my collection and it looks like the only way to get it is to buy the whole 20 year series.
 
I made a note of watching it but got pre-occupied and missed it.
I hope somebody puts it on youtube if it is not illegal !
Or maybe it will be available on TV LAND . com soon !
 
I watch Gunsmoke on Netfilx all the time, its also on tvland.com and the real old episodes are on Youtube.

Matt Dillon can give the 5 out to Chuck Norris.

I grew up watching Gunsmoke with my Dad, he never missed an episode.
A few years before he died he had emphysema bad and couldn't do anything but sit so I recorded Gunsmoke, Bonanza and the Rifleman and we watched them again;).

It is listed at 12 noon PST today and again on Weds.
