Why?Any serious buyers going to be at the Derby this year?
I think when he says "serious buyers" he really means people who want to pay more than it is worth. Why?
You are not going to sell this cue,it's a look at me thread for 8 years now.
Or they say very rare .. hard to get ... Don't wait a million years ...I think when he says "serious buyers" he really means people who want to pay more than it is worth.
"He's probably trying to get "THE TROLL OF THE YEAR AWARD...AGAIN.Why?

I'll give you 35 bucks for it. I'll even throw in a pack of smokes. At the Super Expo I saw several Gus Szamboti's in the mid teens $$ to give everyone some updated information on the cue market
Asking price doesn't mean as much as the actual purchase price. Did any of them sell?At the Super Expo I saw several Gus Szamboti's in the mid teens $$ to give everyone some updated information on the cue market
So, my 25 or 26 oz cue is wayyyyy too much? LolYes, cloth has nylon in it now. Plays much faster. 20oz is like an aluminum bat in the majors. Way too much
He said he'd sell it for 13,500, now he says 16,000 wtf he also said it had 2 shafts - it had 3 beforeI think we should give logdog some slack. He did put a number on what he wants for the cue so what more can you ask?
Probably covering up bad point work, right?I’ve never seen a Gus with dots on the points….for me, that is a deal-breaker.

Actually, some of Gus' fancy cues were done with dots on top of the points. If it's Gus, it's not to correct something.I’ve never seen a Gus with dots on the points….for me, that is a deal-breaker.

Thanx…I’ve never had one in my hands.Actually, some of Gus' fancy cues were done with dots on top of the points. If it's Gus, it's not to correct something.
There is a really fancy four-pointer with dots on top of the points on the first page of the Historical Cue thread:
Since Tim (skins) posted a very fancy Gus a few days ago, it got a few of us to thinking about a historical thread. This is an attempt, for those who are interested. A lot of historic cues have been presented over the years, but mostly in the archives now. Since this is the cues and cases gallery, I think only cues and cases should be presented. I would hope that Tim would post the Gus again (and when it might get a spa treatment).
As this is historic, I think new cues and tributes wouldn't fit this thread. Cutoffs are arbitrary, but I would think before The Color Of Money would be...
