I’ve owned that cue for about 15 years +/-. It’s in super mint condition, it was either used very little or was refinished by Barry. It’s tricky to tell on this cue if it’s a refinish. Most Gus cues that aren’t fancy have been played with a lot.
I’ll post another cue here sooner than later. I’ve been organizing my cues, building a catalog of what I have and values. My health is good, but incase something does happen it would be a good move to at least have them sorted and organized.

Both, especially 40-50 years ago when tools weren’t as precise as they are now. Ernie, Tad, Gus, Stroud and many more all did it. It’s also a nice looking touch.

This is the cousin of the one in Japan, Butt sleeve rings are different. This one has 5 Gus shafts.

This is one of my favorite Gus’s ever. It’s just fancy enough to be sexy, but not over the top. It’s a nice players cue. Condition is 10/10.
It has 5 Gus shafts all are well used and have been cared for. Not wore down. Who ever owned it used it properly and cared for it. I’m glad it has a delrin butt cap as well.

Is Kim's old cue in your pics?
I haven’t ever taken a pic of it. I will, it’s pretty cool. Has 5 shafts - all well used. I remember the first time I saw it in 85. That cue is part of my “never sell” collection. Lots of cool memories. I’ll get pics before this week is over.
We get a lot of promises for pics, but not many pics. Soon you will be requested to post a deposit until said pics have been posted.
Take a day off and post a lot of pics all at once!

Has the best feeling wrap of any cue I’ve ever owned. I first hit balls with this cue in 86.
