Gus Szamboti pictures?

I found one on a google search, my best friend is the guy who took it. Maybe you should try Barry Szamboti. If the reason is right he might help ya!!

Wow, only takes about 2 days worth of work to make a cue. I would have guessed much more.
 
I have seen a Birkbeck Lithograph of Gus, can't remember where. There out there, just hard to find.
 
I believe this was the Birkbeck picture on The National Billiard News.

I wish he would have given a few more details. It may take only 2 days actual working time but, he left out drying time between the lathe turns for the shaft. Also, any drying/curing time to put together any inlays. I have heard a cue maker say it takes about 6 months to turn a shaft down properly. This allows it to dry between turns and makes it less likely to warp over the years.
 
I have heard alot of stories about Gus and he was the great!!! I could have called him in late 85 or earily 86 when I first learned of him, A friend of mine was a good friend of Gus and he made the connection for me. I was too shy to call(how dumb is that???). moving foward 20 years I aint shy and Barry is a good friend. A great family.
