HEY GUY, SURPRISE!!!!!
Here's Guy's Cap Set for his # 39 Tony Zinzola Custom Cue..
The #39 Cue had 2 different designs, so,
I thought I'd make this cap feature both designs in one. And, Guy wanted the shaft caps to have something on to distinguish each Shaft.
All inlays are real Ivory..
Tons of work on these caps. I was going to name this Cap Set "Two Face", after the character that Tommy Lee Jones played in Batman..
Guy, Thanks for letting me Make Caps for Tony's Cue.. It was a good challenge for myself to think of that design. And, to make it..
.

Here's Tony's Site:

It's the #39 Custom Cue on his site..

2nd View

This is the other view of Guy's Cap.. This is the first Cap that has my own made Ivory Diamonds.. The sharp connors kept breaking off. When I first inlayed them, the broken conners didn't look good, so, I machined them out and put in better ones. It must have shifted while the Epoxy was curing.. ..:frown: ..:o ...
Tony offered to make the Diamonds for me, but, he had to finish 2 cues and was busy, so, I told him no need. Thanks for the offer Tony!!!
BTW, These are Piloted Radial Shaft Caps.

alton, you are no doubt the class of the field in your trade, thank you again.

Thanks Guy

Thanks Guy!!
I'm glad you like them.
Notice the Shaft Caps have the Blue Veneer on the Face... This will make the 2 Blue Rings sit about the middle of the Bacote "Rings"..One in the Shaft's Joint Collar Assembly, and the other that blends into the Top of the Shaft Cap.. Sort of matching the Butt Design..
Thanks All for viewing..

Alton

That is one hell of a nice cap set.
You are really getting creative in your designs and your inlay work is coming out very nicely.
Looking forward to seeing more of the inlays in future cap sets.
