NBC has gotten footage of the mass killer at VT...it seems he mailed it to them between shoots. It also seems NBC would like him to spread his message after death. They see it as news(and ratings) and not fuel for other wingnuts.BUT THATS WHAT IT IS.

If you would like to deter them turn it off or change the channel.I find myself in an odd spot of calling for action, but I am.If this guy has a voice after death because he made the world wide news because he killed so many people, what do you think the next guy is going to do?Got Family?

TURN IT OFF.

And Email NBC.
FLOOD THEM.

I use a few message boards ( I assume we all do ) so what I ask is that you copy and post this where you can.
The people (us) need to fix this...for our own good we had better. NBC is letting him speak (in quotes for the minute I watched) as though his message is valid.

I'm sickened by it.We all should be.

Damned Good Point! (edit) The thing is, my TV has been off during what I dub "The liberal views hour" for over a decade. Welcome to the club...:)

I just wasted 15 minutes of my life trying to find an email address to send my comments to. The closest I got on NBC's site was where they asked for marketing info where I tell them how often I watch each of about 150 shows. I went through about 80 checking "frequently" on all of them, finally got pissed and gave up.

My antipathy will not allow me to waste more time. Gimmee an email address and I'll drop them an email. Otherwise, I'm not signing up for a forum. Why? Because their admins will ignore us just like our admins ignore us when we are not pleased with something. Simple as that. If I get an email address, and that address gets passed on, their email servers will feel the pain, and they will address the problem.

I sympathize, but let's face it, it's news and it will get out with plenty of coverage. A lot people get their news from the internet anyway. With or without this message, the kid is famous, and everything about his life is being scrutinized. Luckily such fame is not enough of a motivation for most people.

I saw parts of it.
Cho was obviously a loser who went nuts.
It actually might help some take people like him seriously.

believe me,,,nbc will catch major flack for it, as you are not the only one with this thought.

watch the editorials tomorrow.....

What scares me is knowing that Kip Kinkle (sp?) the school shooter here in Oregon of some years back, is still receiving "fan mail". I hope somebody out there is giving help to those crazies who write him...

I found it quite illuminating.

I was not surprised at the Christian references - appears to be a case of Satanic posession or at the minimum obsession.

The evil one does not rest...

Oh geeeeeeesh!

Humanity will continue to be held back as long as beliefs like this are held. Mental illness, whether caused by physiological problems, or psychological trauma, attributed to demons.. Nice.

Next, we'll be drilling into people's heads to "let the evil spirits out."

Indeed. I thought about commenting on it, but I'm glad Russ beat me to it. It's too late and I'm too tired.......and the evil one beckons.

What I do not get is, the stalking of the two girls, and the police reports being filed as to such, should have been enough to get him thrown out of the school.

But, it may not have deterred him...it is but a few hours drive from Centreville to Blacksburg, and he obviously knew the campus well enough to allude.

He must have exhibited troubled behavior while still in high school and living at home....why didn't the parents do anything, as far as getting him help goes? All I can think is that it was a cultural thing, like losing face, that kept them from getting him help earlier. This type of behavior doesn't just manifest itself over a couple of years.

Tap, tap, tap!

Was there a need for NBC to show the whole footage of that video? I don't see any point or sense in it since the message contains nothing but some crazy thoughts of a madman. they could have just summarized, edited the video and have shown what was only necessary for the public to know. this is just plain irresponsible news reporting. I believe that NBC will take some heat because of this. they got their ratings alright, in the expense of mass complaints.

It is clear that NBC hadn't thought of the consequences of showing such video and the danger it can instigate. this might motivate other people to do or copy a similar act of violence. these acts shouldn't be tolerated but rather kept under close check or behind closed doors. that's why insane people are kept under such conditions as not to allow them to influence or cause any further endangerment on themselves and others.

Great thought but...

The problem with it is this culture has been media media driven from infancy we would rather watch a train wrecks carnage than see and hear a Valedictorians speech ! Which is why you will see this video over and over and then dissected again and again by the talking heads and their experts for hire:confused:
