Hand shaking peckers

Can BCA, WPA or whomever else release rules implement a new rule... NO MORE SHAKING HANDS before and after matches!

I don't think it's OCD (ok maybe it is), I watch players sneeze, take a leak (shake their knob), even at times take a number 2 and not wash hands. I don't want to shake their hand

My procedure is, paper towel hanging and ready, wash hands (with soap not a 2 second rinse) dry hands with towel, turn taps off with towel and open door with towel. Now, after all this, I should shake the hand of the guy I just followed out that pissed and didn't wash his hands?

I must have a better option. Anyone else have this issue?

And if you know the guy did'nt wash his hands after using the restroom, just leave a good glob of the stuff on your hands when you shake his hand. That way you kill two germs with one stone. They may not ask to shake hands again after that

Shopping carts and doors, I use wipes! I will wash table rails and balls as posted earlier. I did get trapped in a washroom that didn't have paper towel or toilet paper. Washroom doors should be automatic or push open!!! Pulls are horrible. No different than taps, I would never touch the tap after washing my hands! I use the paper towel or leave it running when they only have hand dryers.

I am not that bad when it comes to tables, I seem to be able to block it. I do notice more things over time though. Sexual contact was mentioned, it doesn't come into play for some reason, its strange. I can have sex, but not share their plate during a meal. Lucky for me plate licking isn't foreplay.

What you should do is carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Not only is it more effective at killing germs than using a groady bathroom sink, it also leaves your hands dry and ready for pool playing.

While hand shaking is a big risk for germ transmission, so is touching the same pool table and using the same chalk, and breathing the same air. We do not live in a sterile world.

They make hand sanitizers that look like a pen, that you can slip in you bag, and it sprays on with the push of the top. Thats what I have in my bag. And I agree with Kickin Chicken and the original poster about being sanitary.

one of the best gifts i ever received was a bottle of antibacterial hand santizer that is small enough to fit in my case. get one and use it. that's my best recomendation from ocd'er to another.:thumbup:

You DO have a problem with this issue. It's not normal. Just let me ask you one question- you are in the pool room, some hot girl is turned on by you, and wants to give you oral sex, do you let her, or do you find it disgusting?? Think about it.

Someone that gets a bit crazy on the follow up shake and splashes some Urine on thier hand and does not wash is the least of my worries.

As you eat pretty much anything your are probably shoving more germs in your mouth than you will get from that hand shake.

I remember when Earl was nearly crucified for not shaking Ralf Souqet's hand a second time after Ralf won a match, immediately went to Earl who shook his hand, then Ralf went through the post championship rituals and went to Earl a second time as he was leaving the arena and stuck out his hand to shake again as Earl was turning to leave. That was what started a lot of the anti-Earl sentiments and maybe his unraveling a bit.

Here is a better option, suggested by the actions of that great pool player,William Claude Dukenfield, AKA Honest John. Give them a pat on the head, maybe even two pats. They will be far too annoyed or freaked to shoot well after that. Second choice is you could start dressing only in pastels and develop a serious lisp. That'll discourage most guys from wanting to shake your hand. The ones that it doesn't, dude you got a whole 'nuther problem! You may find you have some issues with having sex after all.

Odd this topic is here, I was pumping fuel today this car whips in and a mid 30's fellow jumped out and started my way aggressively with his hand out talking like he knew me. I stated to him I don't know you and surely didn't put my hand out to shake his. This fellow went off the rocker saying why you dissin me Mfer, I told him it wasn't personal and he pushed me, I'm a big guy and can handle myself extremely well but I chose to soak his ass down with fuel. Didn't know him and he struck first, I'm sure his ride home sucked.
