Handling 3M-10 Contact Cement

Finished the cloth on Saturday and it all went good. 3/16" nap roller worked great. The vapors from the glue were not that bad and cleared out within a couple hours once I opened the windows. I think that the Bondo was worse like matteroner said.

I would think that once you get the hand of it, this method has to be faster than stapling, although I guess you have to give the glue time to dry.

I can do complete job with staples in 10-12 minutes :)

I once at Greg Sullivans request, changed the cloth on the TV table at the DCC in 2001, once I had the slate stripped of the cloth that was on it, and the new cloth laid out and ready to install....put it on start to finish in.....8 min 15 seconds...done:p;)

JZ i found your sarcasm somehow funny, but i,m only hackwork mechanic in my country, and recover & refelt tables 15 years now :sorry:

RKC: 8'15 '' with glue ???? :bow-down::bow-down::bow-down:
Yeah I was just playin with ya... Takes me about 6 hours to do a table. Never once had a customer complain about loose cloth ;)
