We appreciate all your nice posts so no more negative please let those losers suffer in their anonymity!
We luv u guys!!!

Those are, indeed, words of wisdom, Fish on. You are, of course, exactly right. It is important to smell the flowers and step over the mud puddles when it rains. I appreciate your kind words. :)

Happy Birthday Jen! Where would AZB be without you?! Thanks for sharing so much here. Among other things, you bring a lot of great 1st-hand modern history to us and I'm most grateful.

Cheers to many more great Birthdays! I trust earthquake rocked your world! :grin-square: :embarrassed2:

Matt

Thank you, KoolKat, for the Happy Birthday and thoughtful post. It is interesting to see how this forum has grown over the years. With the advent of modern technology, we all benefit from those on site to provide us the latest news. That's a good thing for sure, since I have not been able to attend pool happenings in recent times.

I'm a lucky gal in that Keith does rock my world 24/7/365. Just being with him on my birthday was the best present I could receive.

Ok, Im late as usual...Happy happy and many more

Shucks, it's never too late to wish somebody a happy birthday, Voodoo Daddy. :)

I remember the first time I saw you in person was at the Holiday Inn at the U.S. Open. You were coming out of the elevator, and we were going in. Somebody wanted to snap your picture, and you were a wee bit shy, though you did grant their wish. I did not know you well then, but I feel that I have gotten to know you over the years through your cool and informative posts on this forum. Thanks for your great contributions to this pool forum, as well as the birthday cheer! :)

JAM, I've started my new story. It's titled, MISSCUE. The problem is, I haven't sold enought copies of the first book, to come close to breaking even.

Self-publishing is expensive. I paid, I'm not complaining, $17,000 to publish, RIGHT ON CUE.

So far I might have recooped a third of my original investment.

It's a shame. I have great ideas for the sequel.

Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You're a breath of fresh air in this FORUM.

Thank you so much for remembering me, my Northwegian forum friend. :)

Interestingly, I have been doing a little genealogy. I knew I was quarter Native American, but imagine my surprise when I found out that some of that Native American lineage may include Vikings from Norway.

I came across some old photographs of my Cherokee relatives, and half of them are blond, like me. :p

In fact, it is thought that the Vikings from Norway came to America long before Christopher Columbus by about 500 years. These blond Scandanavians had a vast knowledge of boat building and navigation.

Vikings were cool!

I really enjoy the stories about the Vikings, and in school here in Norway we have always been taught that the Viking could have been the first to discover America, based on written stories about for example "Vinlandia".

"Vinlandia" (The Wine Land) was a place west of Greenland, where the Vikings spent some of their winters.

The Vikings supposedly discovered America when they were heading for Greenland, but failed to navigate because of bad weather.

Must be cool to perhaps have both Cherokee and Viking blood :D

Hope you had a good birthday :)

been away from the forum to be on time, so a late one from Stalev's land. Birthday Greetings Jenny!
