Funny story about the acronym JAM. I was contacted by the U.S. Marine Corps to provide support services not so long ago, and the content had to do with the war in Iraq.
I was listening to the proceedings, and the speakers kept referring to "JAM" as kind of an insurgent group in Iraq. That night, I did a Google search and discovered that JAM is a militia organization in Iraq known as Jaish al-Mahdi, JAM for short.
Imagine how the USMC would feel if they discovered their support services were performed by JAM. :grin-square:

Wow! Hard to believe Pete Seeger's 90th birthday. Man, he's really been quite the legend. Loved the Tony Rice diddy with Bela.
Here's an interesting, very old video clip with Johnny Cash and June Carter playing banjo on the Pete Seeger show. You can readily see that poor Johnny was high as the Georgia pine when he was performing, but he still sounds great: Johnny Cash on Pete Seeger Show.

You weren't late. My birthday was actually yesterday. I was born on the same day as Johnny Cash and Jackie Gleason. Interestingly, I'm a lady in black who loves pool. :thumbup:
One reason I adore my Keith is his desire to have fun and entertain the crowd when he's playing pool, much like Jackie Gleason.
In this photo, Arnold Palmer is waiting for Jackie to shoot his shot, and Jackie responds by performing his famous "And away we go" walk. Look at how the crowd reacts.

I actually did have a great birthday. We did not do much, but that is what made it special for me. It is nice to enjoy the day in the relaxing mode. I need to do it more often. Thanks again for the birthday greetings!
