Happy birthday to you, George! You are the second pool writer I was lucky to become familiar with, but the first who I read in original (Bob Byrne's book was translated). That's great I made right choice (thanks to AZ forums) and started with good literature. 14.1 is my game of choice, and your books made big impact on that as well. Many productive years to you!

George is certainly a treasure to the entire pool world. Tips and Shafts has long been my favorite column for over 20+ years. George is one of the people that has the ability to paint a picture with the words that he writes, bringing us stories, history lessons, and his unique point of view month after month.
I hope someday Tips and Shafts is compiled into book form - it would be a must have for everybody!
George, to many of us, you're simply the best there is! I hope you had a great weekend!
