Agreed, happy fathers day to all. And to those, like me, who have lost their father, it's a good day to reflect. My dad was a role model of the highest order. He died over three years ago but I think about him every single day. His shining example still guides me.

Happy Father's Day to you all. my father passed away last week, he was 90 years old and went down hill rather quickly the past month...so today is a day of reflection. I would call him every day with the "political funny" of the day, many from the forum here. it started out about a year ago and there would be some funny about every month, however, lucky for me but unfortunate for the masses, I was able to call every day with some funny debacle from the potus or administration. it brought him not only surprises and shock, but laughs too. thanks az NPR forum! for me today, I prepared lasagna for my daughter and grandchildren and will partake in a padron cigar and 1937 Armagnac! :thumbup:
