Any of you guys hang out in there? Do any of the pros hang there?I'm probably gonna go there tomorrow for a bit if anyone gets a chance...stop by

It's a great room. I used to work there about 14 years ago. Good food, good staff, and the tables (especially in the tournament room) are maintained very nicely.

i did from 85-89, lots of action, coke, 21, domino's, gin, backgammon, you name it, was a great spot. I did it all but the coke part-but the blow dealers were easy $$$ so they were a big part of it all. great memories,

back to today, i aint been in there forever, 93 was the last time, Still hear its a great room,

I wish I still lived in Sacramento. I used to play 1 pocket with the old timers in the tourney room. Tom Coker used to make his cues in the little store front attached to Hard Times. Hard Times or The Jointed Cue both excellent places in the Sacramento area. Corner Pocket also pretty decent place to play. Does Marvin still work there?

I was a monthly membership player there for about 3 years around 2005-8. Pros generally only came for the Sunday tournaments, but there is a pretty good contingent of A and above players there daily and they are all great people. So unless you are really, really good, there is plenty of game there to go around.

I'm there a few times a week. Being the first Sunday of the month there should be a good crowd. There are monthly tournaments on the first Saturday and Sunday of the month. One is 9ball and the other is 1 pocket and because I work weekends, I can't remeber which one is which day.
And yes Digger, MarTin is still there.

MarVin is gone, though.

It's been what, 7 or 8 years now? He sold me his It's George case before he left.

Sac is a GREAT place to love to play pool, the Joint is my all time favorite room, saw some harry shit go down there, just guns and what not. we use to run a card game in he back after hours back in the 80's there. Terry Stonier was the best, Dave is GREAT as well. i miss living there, thought about moving back, but other than pool IDK what i'd do there. i'm not sure what i'm doing anyways LOL

Yes, The Jointed Cue is the All-Time-Favorite of
many a player. The Cheeseburgers are still Great, too.

ohhhhhh man. . ..I forgot about the cheeseburgers at the Jointed Cue....sooooo good. I remember watching some huge tournament's there....always standing room only when the big names would come to play.
