The commentary over this 3 day event was pretty decent I thought. I enjoyed Gabe Owen's analysis of one pocket quite a bit. The 14.1 analysis is difficult and TAR finding good commentary in this game I think is hard.
I did have one suggestion and that is that at least one of the commentators ought to reminded to give more focus to telling the scoring details. Like in 14.1 they hardly ever told what the score was and what the ball run count was. In 1P I think it would have been useful for them to remember to regularly say how many balls the shooting player needs as it forms a good basis from which to discuss playing the score on shot selection. They hardly discussed this at all except when someone had 6 to 0 and then Gabe starting saying stuff like Danny should be focusing on getting those balls uptable...

Yeah, I agree. And...I don't need to know when the commentators are going to the can...if they just say that they are taking a short "break"...that would be fine...ha!

1 pocket - 10 - 9 danny 9-8 danny
john ran 8 an out from the break with the only ball made off the break all night, john had a chance @ 9-9 and then danny made a nice run that took john all but out of the match
10 ball - 30 - 28 danny

I am processing the video now. I could not do it last night because of streaming the Gabe/Chris match. We only have two computers on site now. I have worked in the computer science field all my life and I know too well that this stuff does not just happen instantly and it takes a lot of time and energy to do what you guys are doing, sorry you got screwed the other night. I am sure a lesson learned regarding the feed stop time, the same think happened to the Billiard Club guys at this year's Derby City Classic 9-ball finals.
