Harold Worst 7 Rail Draw Shot - Fact or Fiction? Can anyone replicate this shot today?

I saw Eddie Kelly draw the cueball such that with a standard draw stroke he hit the same rail twice. In his shot he doubled the long rail for position. I have not seen that shot tried in over 60 years.

Friend of mine amazed himself when he popped a draw shot jacked up real close to the rail and the ball did the "hydraulic" dance.

Nah. I'm mostly full of shit.🤣 I have no life. I enjoy putting it out there. If I gotta draw it or go into detail, it loses something in translation. I give the audience credit for being smart enuf to figure it out. Just trying to have a little fun on here. Something this site sorely needs!!!
Wha evah.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a good draw path for multiple rails that utilizes side pocket first and has a full hit on 1st ball.

i heard a story about an old count
in a castle in central europe who had
sharp teeth and could
draw the ball seven rails

but only at night- i’m sure it’s true

Shore there is.
But side pockets being what they are, the OB sometimes wants to pop out when you turn up the dial. Doesn't matter how good your stroke is, when you load up like this, they wanna jump out.
I'd suggest putting a ball or two in the pocket to help keep this from happening. Other than that...

That's awesome, how you'll type all those words about something justnumly related, yet won't elaborate on the topic or your claim.

I don’t think I’ll go looking for it in Freddy’s books, but givenWorst’s tournament records and how they talk about him I wouldn’t doubt it. Think of guys now with big strokes who have pulled off stroke shots and extreme masses. I mean like Sayginer. Worst’s stroke had to be at that level. So the specific shot and conditions I don’t know, but I wouldn’t doubt he did it. The conditions in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s weren’t totally primitive etc… even if they are better now.
I'm thinking Mike Massey. Possible? Maybe.

This one by Corey was only three rails but is still impressive! The first shot was no gimme either!

I've seen that one a bunch of times...and it's still cool.
👍

I don't think this shot is possible. At my first event I saw Mike Massey trying this exact shot but with putting a ball in the bottom left corner (according to the diagram.) He never got the cue ball to make the object ball. Which means he got the 3 rails but didn't get to 4 rails.

There's only so many ways you can hit a ball in the side pocket w draw coming back 2 rails into the corner and back out. I mean c'mon.
Please!!!

Its true, the draw requirement really only leaves <90° of departure angle from pocketed ball.

Therefore, we are left with approaching the corner at an angle that doesn't support+5 rails.
