I was over at Harry's shop and he's ready to start taking orders again.

For those who don't know Harry, look him up, great lineage, working with Wayne Gunn and Dennis Searing. Awesome hit, and attention to detail. I LOVE his taper, it plays stiff, but "feels" long in your bridge. I got him to build me a simple coco merry widow when I came back to pool in late 08, and EVERYONE who hits it tries to buy it. coco mw thread

He has some nice, aged wood, mostly birdseye, to do some some "merry widow" type players, and then a few with points / veneers. He told me I could round a few orders up, and that a merry widow would take 3-4 months, and run $500 and up, depending on shafts, ringwork, gingerbread, yada yada.

No, I am not making a nickel on this, just trying to get a friend back into making some sawdust. If you're serious EMAIL ME, and I will put the first 5-6 in touch with Harry.

So how many years will it take Harry to complete what he's been working on for a few years now.
I've dealt with him and it's like pulling teeth to get your cue back .
I'd love to have one of his cues, but he's gotten that reputation for not finishing the work or delivering until he needs some money.

He makes beautiful cues, but getting one is really hard, even paying up front is still hard to run him down
 
I know Harry has had his share of problems, he took a while on my stuff too.

I am trying to get him back working on things, which can only help you get your stuff completed.

Aloha Eric and Mahalo for the quick response. Just want to let anyone know what a wonderfull cue Harry makes. I've had and played with his exclusively since the early 90's and own no other, shoot with no other and plan to own no other cue in the foreseeable future. You may not know me however I can tell you I know what it meens to touch whitey and his creation makes that possible. Good luck and good hunting.

Harry makes pure dynamite!!! Has since the 80's, I am REAL interested in the cue!!!
 
merry widow question

I wast just wondering if anyone was able to get in touch with Harry about the Merry Widow cues because I never heard anything back from my emails.
