It's been a long time but I 've never seen an explanation from Ralf Souquet on why he bailed on the CSI Invitational last year. Did he ever offer one or tell somebody why he did this? Just wondering.

Yes, we've all heard that story before, but, everybody else that was there had to leave for China too right after the 8-ball event. What I want to know is why did Ralf make a plane reservation to fly out of Vegas to China prior to the end of the tournament. This caused the entire Shane returns from the dead controversy. Has Ralf ever explained why he did this? That's my question.

This subject has been on ABR with mark griffin but I would of liked to heard Ralf speak about the subject.

I think it is smart to get to the other side of the would way early. That time lag can really mess with you and you need at least a couple days to adapt.

Is it smart to do it when it pulls you from the late stages of a tourney? Methinks no.

And then didnt Shane beat the older Ko, but all the naysayers proclaimed that didn't count because Shane shouldve been out? You are right, That was a seperate controversy all on its own with the "shane isnt a world champion" crowd.

Yes Shane proved he is the best in the world in that very match. Lol, at that time Ko was worried about if he was even going to get paid, nevermind the effect of CSI's decision to bring Shane back in.

If I remember right, what especially annoyed CSI was that Ralf knew his flight issues in advance, and only at the last minute (when he had advanced far enough such that he could not play another match and make his flight), he announced "Opps!"
