Mr Bond: Are parts for these tables available? What would you estimate the value of the piece the OP posted? It looks to me like the piece for sale is lacking a lot of the trim work. Does the slate drop right on top of the "frame"? I would think there might be some other structure in the middle to support the slate and prevent it from sagging.

Parts? No way Jose...
You'd have to get lucky and find another table, or fabricate them. Or both.

The table is rare - no doubt about it - but - with it missing SO much - the value suffers GREATLY. Personally I wouldnt pay more than perhaps $500 at most.

The slate does sit more or less directly on the frame but there is also a (missing) set of wooden supports like a typical table would have.

No rails, no slate = 50% original = not very valuable = hardly worth the effort unless youre just crazy nuts about cast iron, and have lots of money to spare.

P.S. The rolled metal on the rail edges is a beyotch. It has to be completely fabricated.

I kind of think whoever has this would let it go for free to get it off his hands. Asking 1100 seems crazy to me.... but that's just a railbird's 2 cents:)
