Has anyone found a way to repair old clear plastic windows?

I have a few old Viking, Palmer and Paradise cues with clear plastic windows some of which have deteriorated and become cracked and foggy.

Does anyone know a trick to restoring these back to a clear state?

Thanks,

I have never tried it on what you are asking but you might consider one of the kits they use to restore headlights from the oxidation.

Bug spray like "Off" contains deet which will help remove the cloudy look. I have not tried this on a cue only plastic headlamp covers, so please try first on something not important.

If it is on the outside it is very simple. Just sand it down to 2000 grit just like you would a finish. Then use a good buffing compound and buff it until it shines and it will be crystal clear. If the inside is cloudy which is rare then remove the plastic window sleeve and sand and buff the inside just like the outside.

If you don't have a lathe or equipment. You could try applying cd repair liquid. I have no idea if this would work. But I'm sure it can be sanded and have a regular repair afterwards. Won't hurt anything.
