Has anyone suggested Magic Rack to Allen Hopkins for SBE?

Here's a solution to the racking problems.... Put all the balls in a pillow case and then have whom ever is breaking pull the cord to release the balls on the table... Perfect rack everytime and its all about the luck of the balls falling. No cheating and no bit*hing :thumbup2:

Serioulsy though you really think that the magic racks at these tables would not get stolen?? PIFT!!! You are dreaming. Slug Doctor is the way to go. I play with a SD on the A table at my hall and its works fine. It must see at least 2 months of immense play (hundreds of racks per week) before any spots where out. So to say that the rings would wear out quickly (4 days???) is just ludicrous....

There's a reason why more and more tourneys are using the Magic Rack - WORLD WIDE.

It levels the playing field, saves time, inhibits mechanics/cheating, and has more pros than cons vs the alternatives. JMHO. I hate inspecting racks - be it a hack's lack of skill or a mechanics manipulation.

It ain't perfect, but it's a strong device. Gets my vote too.

I'm waiting for the first time the following situation occurs:

-The Magic Rack is being used.
-A WORLD 10 BALL TITLE championship match is being played.
-The score is HILL-HILL
-The breaker in the hill-hill match pockets two balls on the break.
-The cue ball coasts towards the magic rack still laying on the table.
-The magic rack deflects the moving cue ball just enough to leave the breaker corner hooked in the end pocket
-The breaker isn't able to recover from the corner hook, loses the game and championship and blames the defeat on the bad roll he got from the Magic Rack laying on the table after his break.

End of story. End of Magic Rack.

Anyone who has watched enough matches using the Magic Rack has noticed deflection of balls as they roll over the plastic film laying on the table. This is definitely a flaw in the system, or will be used as a flaw by someone looking or an excuse as to why he lost the game.
