Has Segel Said Anything Yet?

Ipt

Hi dave, too bad you didnt call.It would of been goood hearing from you.I know the IPT is dead. But if people wont go see an event like that even on a weekend
then I just dont see the sport ever gettting bigger then what it is.People manage to go to every other sporting event. Some High School games draw more people then the ipt did.I don't blame KT or MS.They at least tried.Thats more then most people wiould do to try to take the sport mainstream. My wife even liked the event and she dosn't play. Its just for some reason pool dosn't make good T.V. and thats where the money is.I think KT probably lost a small fortune trying to get it offf the ground.I don't really care for the guy myself but I have to give him credit for trying.
Next time your in town give me a call.

I personally do not see where Mike Segel is to be blamed for anything except putting the idea of an IPT in the head of the guy (KT) who founded, and headed up the IPT.

If Mike Segel is guilty of anything it is putting the idea for a IPT in the head of a guy who took advantage of pool players.

KT promissed, and did not pay what was promissed to the players when they won money.

Blame the guy who hold owes the money, as Mike Segel unless I do not understand does not hold the money owed the players.

I have followed the IPT since it was being hype as the next best thing for pool, until it apparent folding, or change of ownership from Kevin Trudeau the IPT’s founder.

I am not aware that Mike Segel personally made any warranties, or guarantees to the players, and others who are owed moneys, etc. by the IPT.

Wasn't Mike Segel just another player, or was he an IPT employee, or officer who had control over accounts payable, and receivable?

Yes I do know Mike and Kevin Trudeau were long time friends, but that friendship in no way give Mike access to IPT funds.

Someone please correct me if Mike Segel was a principal or officer in the IPT Inc.

I do not not see where at this point in time after the IPT fiasco it would be beneficial in any way, shape, or form for Mike Segel to comment on something he has zero control over.

Wonder if the IPT had been a success, if Mike Segel would be expected to be responsible for the success?

All I can say is that everyone needs to beg for Kevin's forgiveness for the way they have been talking about him and cursing him out publicly. Everyone makes mistakes and Kevin is no exception. Be realistic. Kevin has spent well OVER 5 million on this tour and he plans on spending more. You need to stop throwing stones at him and give him a break. In all my years of playing on all of the tours, Nobody can come close to doing what Kevin has done. So please stop CRYING!

mr treadue, said that we would not forget the i.p.t,he was definately telling the truth,I will never forget the i.p.t,what an experience, talk about ups and downs, tthe best thing you can all do is think of the positives.
b saleh.

A hobby photographer with a few years of experience could produce those pictures from the event. Those pictures were nice.

Do you know this for a fact? Do you have some way of knowing what KT's plans are? If so, it would be nice if you would let the rest of the pool world know what they are.

If this is true, then he is an even bigger idiot than those who worship him. No even remotely successful business man is going to throw good money after bad. Assuming it's true that he has lost millions on this tour in only a year, why in the world would he want to throw more good money away on a bad investment? Because of his love for the game? Or pool players? Not a chance.

However, if the "more spending" you are talking about is paying the other 45% owed to the Reno players, and anyone else he hasn't paid yet, then I might believe. Maybe.

This is one of the most ridiculous posts ever in this forum.

Beg for his forgiveness? OMG.

He has robbed everyone in the industry, from the players, to the venues, the print media, his employees, the qualifiers and the FANS.

I think yo ushould reevaluate your position, and as you are obviously a shill for kt, tell him to pony up the cash he owes, then he can beg our forgiveness.

I basically know the part about over 5 million. This is including prize money and expenses that Kevin has spent on the tour this far. And also from the emails that he has sent out recently to the players it sounds like for sure that he is going to pay out the rest of the money he owes. He also says he is going to pay the rest of the money to the players before the next event. I don't think that Kevin would pay out 5 checks to the players if he wasn't serious about continuing on with the IPT in the future, Do you? So to me it looks real good for the IPT to continue. I feel that the last payments from Kevin prove that he for sure is going to continue on as planned. I just want to apologize for being so positive about the situation with Kevin, and I'm sorry that I have made anyone upset. I am just trying to hopefully make a bad situation good. Can you blame me? As a last note, I do not know about Kevin's future plans, so I'm sorry about misleading you or anyone else.

The roots of KT's problems reach much further than the players. You might ask Greg Sullivan (Diamond) how he feels about the situation. IMO the risk he takes in NOT paying may be his real motivation. I had a business, and when I realized it was time to get out I did, why, because I had the ability to pay off those that I had committments too and sucked it up $$$$$$$. I may not be financially where I want to be at this point, yet no one got hurt and I ain't LOOKING over my shoulder.
