Have a pillow?

There are some good comments in the video about training in general.

I think that for players under some Fargo rating spending a lot of time practicing the break is not very useful. I think they should spend that practice time on other parts of their game. I think it is a mistake for the vast majority of pool players to try to emulate SVB's break unless they are ready to put in hundreds of hours at it like SVB did.

I don't understand why you would use a pillow in the first phase if you have a BreakRak. He demonstrates the BreakRak in the video. I guess the pillow is for when you are on your home table without the extra equipment.

 
Maybe while he’s practicing the ‘baby steps’ he’s not concerned with accuracy and just wants the balls to stay up table so he can continue to practice keeping his bridge hand still and so on.
What happens if you don’t hit the BreakRAK square or you miss the ball all together and the CB hits the cables? Is the CB airborne?
Maybe he wants to get the technique down before using the BreakRAK and adding power to save some windows in the house
