Have the rules changed?

rules

Forum rules aside

the fact that you left someone "negative rep" for bumping their thread they started 8 hours ago speaks volumes. Its just uncalled for and ridiculous.if it upset you that bad a simple pm would have been fine reminding that az'er that he has broken an az law lol.

We dont need az police for utter stupidity.

P.s. Were you a hall monitor back in school ha ha just kidding

There are constant violations of the 48 hour bump rule. The WFS section is and has been out of control and under managed for a very long time. The 48 hour bump rule is kind of like the speed limit on the highway. We see it and know it's meaning but since it's almost never enforced it gets ignored..

Because it makes no sense to list completely different items together. Each item needs it's own heading, so it can be searched for and found. Also, when that item sells, that thread dies. I'm not listing a high end custom cue, with a case or a production cue. When items are listed and bumped properly there is no harm in the separate listings. I even try to not bump my items together. I even take some time between posts as I create listings.

Just because a J&J case can carry a Szamboti, doesn't mean they should be listed in the same thread.

Like everyone else i don't like over bumping, but i agree with FNL's comment. It's nice to be able to just read the title and know whats inside and i usually don't pay much attention to the "I have a bunch of crap, look inside" threads.

Opinion

I think just cues and cases should be sold in this section, and not miscellaneous crap. Put all the other stuff into a misc. subforum.
I am also tired of seeing watches, guns, etc. wanting to be traded for a cue, take that shit to a pawn shop. I don't care for the guy that has 20 extra shafts to sell either.

If you weed out all the bullshit, this section will again be valuable...

The "wanted/sale" forum had a resemblence of order when only the OP had access the threads and a time interval between posts was imposed.

It appears that the aggressive cue pimps, some with multiple usernames and/or legions of huckleberrys are once again running amok because the forum reverted to the clusterf(%k it was because of less traffic/noise during the time frame when sanity prevailed.

Instead of having to reply 'bump' to actually bump, we can have a button to 'bump'.
Replying a thread will not bring it to the top. Pressing the button will. And you can only press the button once every 48 hours.

It should be simple to implement that feature. Question is, will AZ do it? :)
Couldn't agree more with my friend here. Really nice solution.

This thread pops every six months or so and it's always like herding cats.

Yo......

The wanted for sale area is to big, anyway you cut the Pie.By the half day mark our ads are burried five pages deep.It takes months to sell maybe.Who ever suggested to break it up by price or maybe maker,it should go along some kind of break down like that, that way by the end of the day were not dead on some page that no one looks at unless they are bored.I would think we need at lest minimum three section maybe $500 or less 500.00 to 1500.00 and high end.Any thoughts on this,as I did not read the whole post, nor would I want to.

Just a bump

This seems like a good idea so long as it's not splintered in to too many sub-categories.

While we're on the subject of improvements, I'd personally love to see the posts split in to "buying" and "selling" categories. I've seen this implemented on other forums and I find it very convenient. When submitting a new post you're forced to tag it as either buying or selling. When viewing posts you have the option of filtering by either one or simply viewing everything.

The bumping policy changes won't have any effect on me since I typically view by "thread start date" and then view them chronologically.

At a minimum the section should be broken up to:
Cues
Cases
Books/DVD's
Misc
