I was going to wait and post this after I recieved my cue and played with it some but I am too excited to wait. I have just done a deal with Keith Varney. I am getting a nice hitting sneaky from hit. Just the specs I wanted with a medium Kamui tip installed. His price was extremely fair and so far his business dealings have been spot on! If all goes well, I will be getting this new cue tomorrow. I will post up a report on playability later.
Now, this probably isnt a big deal to most of you on here, but this is a big deal for me. I have been playing with the same cue..a Michael Capone...for at least 6 years and have had no other custom player. I love Mr. Capones cue but I wanted to get something a little big heavier to play 9 ball and banks with. My capone will still be my one pocket cue.
As a school teacher, I have very little money to throw around, especially on cues. We just dont make that much money here in Kentucky. I am 26 years old, have student loans to pay for, and, of course, regular bills we all must pay. I also just bought a new engagement ring so that hurts as well. So this new cue is a big deal for me.
