Have you wondered where Gabe has been lately?

[Snapshot9]

Last weekend, I talked with Bob Owen, and was asking him about Gabe, why has hasn't been competing in the major tournaments lately.

Seems like Gabe has met a woman and been seeing this woman, and moved from Florida to one of the Carolinas to a small town where she lives that doesn't have much in the way of Pool there. (Must be love).

Bob had just got back from setting some tables up exactly like he has his GC's down at Tight Pockets, or the The Cue Shop as we call it, the little Pool room in the front of Shurtz's custom cues where Gabe is living now. Tight Pockets have 4 GC's, good place for 14.1 or 1 Pocket game here.

Perhaps our Carolina posters can shed more light on what has been going on with Gabe lately???

God bless Gabe and his lady. Some folks go an entire lifetime without ever having anyone to share their heart with. May he enjoy life to the fullest. One thing they can never take away from Gabe, he is a U.S. Open Champion, and North Carolina is just a hop, skip, and a jump from the U.S. Open venue, come this September!

I am told Gabe will be in Olathe for the Shooters event.

I am not a Carolina poster but Gabe has been seeing someone for a while ( I have seen her at a few events) and seems to be concentrating on other things right now besides pool full time. He has still been playing some regional events and was playing pretty well. He has been around Greenville SC and believe me there are some players in the area he has been. (Daulton, Nevel, Brian White and others)
