I posted the picture of the model this user had posted as her own. Perhaps you could tell me where I was supposedly out of line.

Whatever the truth about Tonya, the photo posted by her doesn't really seem to me to bear a strong resemblance to any of the actress/model photos posted so far.

I think you should realize that most of the posters on here are grown men, and many of them spent years of their life in pool rooms. That alone will make you a little bit cynical about people, and their motives. First of all, it is a rare occurrence when a young woman joins this forum. There are quite a few women on here, but most of them have been around the billiard scene for a period of time.

Secondly, you did come on pretty strong for a 23 year old girl, chastising the guys who post photos of scantily clothed women. Yes, it may offend your senses, but you are in a poolroom type atmosphere here. If you entered a typical American poolroom, you would likely see and hear other things that would offend you. You can make a choice to ignore these things and enjoy the other aspects of AzBilliards, or you can continue to let it bother you.

As another poster said before, you cannot be too thin skinned on here. There is NO ONE posting on here who hasn't been criticized publicly on this forum (including me). This is one place that if you get out of line, you will get called on it. And I happen to like that. If you do choose to stay with this forum you will find a wealth of information available about all things pool related, and may even make some good friends along the way. There is a wonderful group of people who post on here, that will go to great lengths to help a fellow AZ'er.

You may ultimately find that AZ is a terrific resource for all kinds of things, that could be useful to you in your chosen career, In fact, I'm sure of that. Bottom line Tonya, you are a young attractive woman, and men will react to you in all kinds of different ways. But you are not a child, and you already know that. I commend you for standing up for yourself, but take a moment and consider how you might be perceived by someone who doesn't know you, and only read your posts #23 and #62.

Whether you choose to continue here or not, I wish you success in life and much enjoyment from the wonderful game of pool.

Man, there's so much to say regarding this thread... I had a big long post read to to go, then I decided to take a different road...

Don't believe it for one minute. She/he is still here under another identity, much like Pool Detective, et al., who posts here often still, usually early in the morning.

There's an army of multiple-identitied trolls on AzBilliards. They read here every single day, post under troll identities, even though they proclaim elsewhere ad nauseum under their own identities how much they hate this place and everything associated with it.

What is featured on my site is what most people seek from me, portraiture, and I'm quite happy with that and am afforded the luxury of shooting what I like on my own time in the formats I prefer. Either way, your opinion means nothing to me because my work has been sought, bought, sold, and displayed. I hope you get over being a bitter man.

Your are absolutely CORRECT, Jennie!
You would think that if the disgruntled posters dislike this forum so much and how it is run and what is said and what is not allowed to be said, they would go somewhere else to spread their doom and gloom.

Some of the trolls are very clever but they seldom outsmart all of the AZBers for long. Travis Trotter seems to be the most clever and is faster than the GingerBread Man. :D

While it's highly possible that Tonya has another account here, and is posting under an assumed identity, isn't it also possible that he/she may suffer from multiple personality disorder?

Sufferers of this affliction are not always aware of what the other persona is up to, so I suggest every AZ'er check the history on your computer to see if you are Tonya Reyes (sometimes).

This a joke,btw, I am not assuming responsibility for the Tonya character. (At least I don't THINK so.)
