What time are the Semis?

Thanks

How many times has Karen been the runner-up at the World Nine Ball Championships? 3 times I think. I am really impressed with her performance so far and am rooting for her all the way. After two years without a WPBA title, winning the World's games would boost her confidence exponentially.

Karen just lost 9-3 to some really young loooking asian girl..... I assume it was the finals at 7:00 central time

Yes.... Just finished the closing ceremonies........ Karen got a check for 15,000 for runner up

It was 9-5 after Karen lead of 5-2 ! I think Liu made break and run 4 or 5 times in this 7 racks !!!

All of these girls train with a coach and practice tons. Not many of us in the States can say the same.
Do you think having a coach is the next step for US players if we want to stay competitive? Is it fair to say the Asian and European players have gone farther in approaching pool as an athletic endeavor than US players typically do?

At least in Europe yes. They started treating pool like a sport. The coach must have a system behind him. I think what Sarah wanted to say is that these girls START with a coach, which I think is very important. They learn the right stuff from the beginning.
