Its a stained maple on stained maple. Veneers are black,natural, mahogany and black. Piloted 5/16 18 jt. Some ringwork at base and on collars. Shaft is straight and butt has a very very slight roll. Cue plays great. Fiinish is real shiny. I believe it was resprayed. The last few letters of helmststter have rubbed off. There are a couple nicks in butt.

butt weighs 13.9 and shaft weighs 4.0 oz.. shaft is real close to 13mm and nice layered tip.

Is there a weight bolt installed, already. If not, is it tapped for one?

Ya !!!! I could match that joint stich ring, Look good, and protect the cue. Thats a nice cue. Jim

That one is way darker than mine, and mine lost it's Helmstetter logo long before I acquired it...but the weight seems pretty darn the same.

If yours plays half as well as mine does, you will never want to let it go! I am so glad you finally got one to call your very own!!

I know that some of these have been converted in the past...and I had had similar plans for mine...until I played with it. Now, I could not imagine changing a thing. :grin:
