I dont know if many of u know, I have gone thru a lot of medical problems over the last 4 years and 1 year ago, I finally gave up my right leg, to hopefully get rid of 8 different infections that I got from a total hip replacement i had gone thru. So, about 8 months ago, I couldnt play pool anymore, but I wanted to stay invloved in the world of pool and such.
So, I had all of my collection of pool items, cues, cases, books, dvds, etc. shipped to me in Largo, Florida and I rented a very small space 10 feet from the front door of The Crooke Cue pool hall, which is where they just had the 2012 US Amateur Championships for the women, and I set up a Billiards Pro-Shop with a whopping, 84 square feet of space, It took me almost 3 months to get the shop up and running because I didnt have the mopney to pay others to build the are and put in counters, shelves, etc. So, I finally got the area up and running and I just found out that the person I am renting from, never pulled Business and Occupancy permits for the building i am in, so I now have to find another place to run my businessm which included,
200 pool cues, 90% were vintage and cues I had collected over 30 years,
60 cue cases, also a lot of vintage cases collected since 1985
200 books of pool, 3-cushion, snooker etc.
300 DVD
1000's of tips 130 different types all the way back to vintage 1970's tips
And so on and so on
What should I do??
If I just sell everything, how whould I go about doing this,
If I find another place, I have no way of transferring everythign and re-setting up my shop and I have very little cash, since I have invested everything I have in this little shop.
I am on disability and I thought this was something I could do if only a few hours a day and be able to not be dependent on the government and tax-payers to make a living.
What should I do, I am inbetween a rock and a hard place.
Any advice would be very appreciated!!!
Help!!
