Help I cant ID this cue

Shaft is wrapped looks original.

Shaft looks original? Looks like different collar to me.

Cool cue. Could get a proper shaft made, or use an "off the shelf shaft", or sell the butt.

Originally came with two shafts.

With one original shaft and in nice condition it's about a $250 cue.

I like the way it shoots better than the Coker on the left

Decent looking...not to take away form the OP's topic but if you're looking for a case check out John Bartons, he has a really cool design your own feature.

Thanks Stake! I actually bought it @ 2 weeks ago. Very happy with it. But I value ( both yours and ) CD's opinion so thought I'd ask. And, also, actually, the nanosecond I hit submit, I thought, hmmmm... hope I'm not hijacking the thread. So in that spirit I'm shutting up now! Will check out Barton cases.

I agree on both counts. For a complete discussion post a thread on the case review forum.

LOL!

Thanks.

I know what I know, and I have a good memory...and lots and lots of pictures of cues on my hard drive for identification.

Catalog cues are easy, customs can be more difficult.

Jayman is the master of Adam cues. He has the most spectacular collection I have seen and knows a heck of a lot about them. Usually when Adam is the topic he shows up, but we don't seem to see him here as often these days.

Anyway, Helmstetter wasn't messing around with Adam and the various associated brands. They turned out a lot of good cues. A lot of classic designs.

In the original post, the cue has misaligned rings, which is disappointing. Generally Adam cues are better than that, but not always.

Yup. I saw that earlier. Was wondering if you would bring it up. Obviously an excellent cue from a master.

Plainly speaking, it's in a whole different class from the others.
